Alex Proba is a German-born multidisciplinary artist and designer based in New York.
Raised in Germany, she developed an early fascination with color, form, and the
emotional impact of spaces. She studied Spatial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts
in Stuttgart and later earned a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture from the Piet
Zwart Institute in Rotterdam. Her practice spans painting, illustration, textiles,
furniture, and large-scale installations, all unified by a vibrant visual language
characterized by bold colors, playful geometries, and intuitive compositions. Deeply
inspired by nature, travel, and everyday experiences, she creates works that radiate
optimism and invite emotional connection. Her work has been exhibited
internationally and featured in collaborations with leading global brands, museums,
and design institutions.
