Ahmed Mansour is an Egyptian contemporary visual artist based in Cairo, where
he was born and raised in an environment shaped by Egypt’s rich cultural heritage
and dynamic urban landscape. From an early age, he developed a strong interest
in drawing and visual storytelling, which led him to pursue formal artistic training
and continuously refine his practice. Working primarily in painting and mixed
media, he creates layered compositions that explore themes of memory, identity,
and emotional transformation. His work is characterized by gestural marks,
textured surfaces, and a sophisticated use of color that balances spontaneity with
structure. Through abstraction and carefully constructed forms, he invites
viewers to engage with the emotional and conceptual depth of his work. He has
participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Egypt and internationally.
