Hicham Ghandour, born in 1958 in Beirut, is a master furniture designer. His distinguished career in gilded objects took off in 2002, leading to prestigious roles at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and collaborating with Ralph Lauren Home on prototype gilded furniture. Since 2016, Ghandour has designed exclusive collections for the renowned Nilufar Gallery in Milan. Blending flawless technical skill with noble materials, his creations carry a powerful sculptural presence. Today, his work is widely celebrated as some of this decade’s definitive furniture masterpieces, bridging historical reverence with contemporary design.
