After Pangea, Emilio Ferro’s new light art installation, will be on view from October 15 to 30, 2024, at Egypt’s Library of Alexandria as part of “Tale of Two Cities” by Art D’Égypte/Culturvator. Five towering marble blocks form a pentagonal structure representing the continents, with a glowing central platform symbolizing the sun and ancient solar deities like Ra and Helios.

The installation invites visitors to reflect on unity and peace by moving toward the light. Supported by Marmonil, After Pangea evokes the grandeur of ancient Egyptian and Greek monuments and highlights the possibility of overcoming global challenges through collective human effort.
