Brief info
Zeina ElHoushy, born in Cairo, Egypt 2002, is a furniture designer inspired by Arab heritage and traditional craftsmanship. Raised in a deeply patriotic Egyptian family and having spent seven years growing up in Abu Dhabi, she developed a deep appreciation for the diverse cultures of the Arab world. Her work is exhibited in a gallery in Paris, and she is based between Cairo and Paris.
After studying design in Paris and Egypt, she fell in love with wood turning. Through TAMAR BY Z, she experiments with materials to create contemporary furniture that revives traditional craftsmanship for a new generation.
