Draga & Aurel is a multidisciplinary studio based in Como, Italy, founded in 2007 by designer Draga Obradovic and artist Aurel K. Basedow. Working across art, collectible design and product design, the studio unites rigorous methodology with an intuitive, material-led sensibility. Its in-house practice moves fluidly between experimentation and production, exploring colour, transparency and the expressive potential of surfaces. In 2019, Draga & Aurel launched Transparency Matters, a collection of entirely handmade works that approaches transparency as both an aesthetic quality and an attitude: clear, luminous and authentic. Continually evolving, the collection reflects the duo's distinctive and recognisable creative language.
