Brief info
Maria Vittoria Baravelli is an art and photography curator based in Milan, working internationally.
She writes for various national magazines and has published with Rizzoli the visual culture essay Il mondo non merita la fine del mondo (The World Does Not Deserve the End of the World), a call to keep falling in love with works of art and what they represent.
She loves archives and the past, yet she often says that the future always carries an ancient face: if we speak of the past, it is only because it allows us to imagine the future.
Through her Instagram profile @mariavittoriabaravelli she has built one of the largest communities of art lovers in Italy, making art and photography a universal language that connects people and cultures.
