Brief info

Abdul Rahman Taha (b. 1996, Madinah) is a Saudi contemporary artist based in Riyadh, working across installation, sculpture, and photography. Trained in architecture and urban planning, he reads cities as living archives: streets, walls, and courtyards that hold layers of time, use, and erasure. His practice sits in the gap between what a place remembers and what it forgets, tracing how culture embeds itself in built form, in folk games, and in the objects people carry across generations. For Taha, space and time are not themes but material; his installations create conditions that visitors complete by moving through them. He has exhibited at Noor Riyadh Art Festival, Al Riwaq in Bahrain, Ithra, Misk Art Institute and Hayy Jameel, among others. An alumnus of the Misk Masaha and Intermix residencies, he has led a workshop at Desert X and holds the Kingdom Photography Award and the Virginia Burke Research Award.
