ABOUT THE ARTIST

Pilar Zeta is an Argentinian-born artist currently based in Mexico City. A multifaceted artistic talent, her creative endeavours range from creating monumental installations and mixed media artworks to crafting iconic album artwork and directing music videos and live performances. Her works seamlessly blend elements of philosophy, mathematics, symbolism, mysticism, and surrealism, while embracing the aesthetics of postmodern architecture and the use of colour and shapes as a primordial language. In 2021, Zeta’s artistic journey took a transformative leap with a monumental installation at Miami Art Week held at Faena Miami. In 2022, her solo exhibition ‘The Space of Variations’ at Praz-Delavallade in LA provided a glimpse into the artist’s exploration of different dimensions merging the physical with the digital world within the concept of quantum physics. This successful exhibition set the stage for Zeta’s subsequent installation during Miami Art Week 2022, titled ‘Future Transmutation’. In February 2023, Zeta showcased another large-scale installation and exhibition titled ‘Doors of Perception’ at Galerie Philia during MACO Art Week in Mexico City. Her diverse work, deeply influenced by the mysteries of ancient Egypt and cosmology, continues to push the boundaries of creative expression, inspiring audiences globally with her visionary approach and captivating exploration of the unknown. Notably, Zeta won a bronze Clio Award for Best Direction for her work on Camila Cabello’s music video Don’t Go Yet and received a 2021 Grammy nomination for her outstanding role as art director for Coldplay’s ‘Everyday Life’ album.

Yara Hatem Hamed Shafie is a teaching assistant at the faculty of Fine Arts-Cairo-Egypt. Born 2.22.1991, Cairo.

Graduated with grade of honor in 2013 and MA holder from the faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Department of mural paintings 2019. member of the Syndicate of Fine Arts.Participated in group & solo exhibitions. “Youth Salon” the 22nd (2011) and 27th (2016) and 34th (2023).“The foloka” exhibition, held by Abd Wahab el Mohsen Foundation for art, culture and Development 2015,2019.

DESCRIPTION

(My Blue Garden), An artistic project that increases the hypothesis of blending the feminine beauty and the holy spirit of the Islamic art. This is represented clearly throughout using the impact of Iznik pottery tiles and although the geometric and plant motifs. In this garden, the blue color turns to be a symbol of spiritual purity, where the female body’s blend to be part of the Islamic patterns. In the artist’s opinion, This could express the state of deep equilibrium between human and nature. Eventually, the project invites it’s audience not only to contemplate beauty as a philosophical state that transcends borders but also to combine between heritage and modernity and on the other hand between inner peace and the depth of human experience

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Experimenting with textures and objects derived from daily life, painter Rania Abu Elazm elevates these everyday references to a new plane of beauty through the act of artful recombination. Gestural strokes and saturated colors make Elazm’s work resonate with a universal beauty that is hard to deny.

Elazm is an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Helwan University. She holds an AM degree in painting. Rania has participated in group exhibitions between 2003-2018 as well as a solo exhibition, entitled “Line x Color,” in 2015.

She has also received awards from Helwan University (2015); the Society of Fine Art Lovers (2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010, respectively); Port Said Biennale 2009; General Display Award in the 27th Youth Salon 2016; the 38th General Exhibition (2016, 20170; the 28th Youth Salon (2017); the White-Black Salon (2017), the exhibition of Heritage Revival of the French University in Cairo; and the 58th Cairo Salon (2018). Her work is included within the collections of the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art, CIB Bank, and private individuals in Egypt and abroad.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Egyptian artists- born in 1976 – Graduated in 1999 from the Faculty of Fine Arts where she currently teaches as a professor – She accomplished 8 solo exhibitions, and participated in more than 120 local exhibitions for printmaking, drawing, painting and installation, and more than 90 international exhibitions, Biennales and Triennials in Egypt and other countries. She took part in workshops in Egypt, Spain, Romania, and Jordan, and has a lot of Collections: in The Contemporary Egyptian Art Museum, Faculty of Fine Arts, many countries and foundations.

Eman Osama is a printmaker, painter, illustrator, installation artist, and graphic designer. She is fond of black and white, and the power of line.

But she also uses mixed media in her colored paintings. Sometimes she uses her own symbols to create and express her ideas and dealing with human feelings and problems in the first stand, trying to present it in a different mood. Anger, sorrow, happiness …. Etc. And she is always trying to express the deep world of women’s souls, and draw her as a primary model in most of her artworks, passed on true or mythological stories.

Osama’s art work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions since 1997, and had a long and successful career in the arts, both teaching and establishing herself as a distinguished and capable artist. She is quickly becoming a new favorite among collectors in Egypt and around the world. She got many awards, certificates and medals for her Art

DESCRIPTION

The painting “A Woman and a Typewriter” is one of a series entitled “Dentelle”, a visual insight into the depth of the female side and a woman’s desire to communicate and write to express her feelings. Sometimes a woman finds in the materiel the companionship she needs, such as dolls, tools, books, dresses, etc., which may turn into friendly souls capable of talking and listening. The typewriter is one of these tools, which is an intermediary for the free and unconditional expression of what is going on inside the female by which all her thoughts and dreams are documented to the world. All these materials are transformed into feminine forms of slavery and transparency, such as the texture of a female lace or “Dentelle”

Mona Heikal, an Egyptian contemporary sculptor whose fluid abstract works are inspired by nature.

Resembling both actual and mythical creatures, Heikal allows fantasy to fuse with reality in a process of true artistic creation. Mona’s sculptures exude an innate and raw vitality, same as that of wild nature; combining strong, confident lines with soft flowing surfaces.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sara Tantawy (b. 1995, Egypt) is a visual artist whose work delves into movement, identity, and the emotional depth of the human experience.

A fine arts graduate from Helwan University (2017), Tantawy explores themes of resilience, ritual, and expression through painting, often drawing inspiration from Egyptian cultural traditions. Through her detailed compositions, she captures the fluidity of dance, the symbolism of costume, and the connection between body and emotion.

In her Dancer at Silver Centre series, for example, she uses circular canvases to signify eternity, reinforcing the timeless role of movement in human expression.

Tantawy’s work has been exhibited at Fann A Porter gallery in Dubai, marking her debut in the United Arab Emirates. As she continues to develop her practice, she remains committed to exploring the intersections of history, personal experience, and the visual language of movement

We see in it the movement of the body and limbs as if they were ancient Pharaonic dances, as if the body is attempting to find balance. This state enables us to confront our modern reality in which we live and inspires us to express a rebellious freedom against the pull of the earth. The movement of the body also emphasizes the creation of a space that has its own vitality and presence.
