India Mahdavi is a Paris-based architect,
designer, and scenographer renowned
for her international projects spanning
architecture, interior design, scenography,
furniture, and object design.
Of Iranian and Egyptian heritage, she describes herself as “polyglotte & polychrome,”
embracing her multicultural background through a distinctive, cross-cultural art de vivre. Since founding her studio in 2000, she has developed a creative ecosystem on rue Las Cases in Paris, including her studio,
furniture showroom, petits objets boutique, and project room. Her iconic projects include Sketch in London,
the Piano Nobile at Villa Medici in Rome, the PoMo Museum in Norway, and the Condesa Hotel in Mexico City. Collaborating with leading brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gebrüder Thonet Vienna,
Mahdavi expresses a modern vision of comfort and joy, infused with color and humor.
